There is a small trick that works on IE (a browser that many developers don't like) and gives your web page the effect of ajax reload while at the same time makes your page loading time look like it's faster.
The true optimization for your web page is the only actually optimization that can decrease the loading time of your web page and that's what you all should do before deploying a new web site.
So here is the trick that gives the fake ajax trick:

Code:

That's all you need to do, just add those to lines of code to your web page

You have to put these two tags in the head of your html document
How does it work ?
First of all it makes use of "blendtrans" function, a Microsoft function which in non IE browsers will have no effect at all.

So when a page posts back for example when you click a button on a form this is causing a flicker as the page is redrawn. The trick is based on the fact that in most cases the page that it's redrawn is very similar to the previous screen.

Blend-trans function causes the old page to blend smoothly into the new one rather with the flicker effect which is annoying.

With this simple trick you get a small percentage of the benefits of ajax and of course with only a very tiny effort.
